How I View … Blessings
I cannot believe that it is already December. Of course the time flies, it does every year. But November in particular has gone by very quickly. We did spend almost the first two weeks without power so in some ways time stood still. But here we are, the second to last monthly blog circle. This month’s theme was, appropriately, about blessings.
I feel blessed and thankful that we made another trip to the park this month. The weather has gotten pretty chilly so an outing to the park is not the first thing that pops into my head when thinking of ways to entertain the kids. But on this day the kids were asking to go so we did. We spent about an hour there before the sun went down. It was chilly and there were only a few other kids there, but they had fun and didn’t complain once about the cold. It was really nice to get out and get some fresh air.
I also had a good month taking photos of my little lady. Some days she does not want to take photos (and that’s okay!) but she will sometimes flip out just by seeing the camera. But this month she was pretty cooperative which I always love.
I am thankful for leftover Halloween candy, especially peanut butter cups – YUMMY!
And I am so thankful that I finished my first Project 365 – without ever missing a day. Here is my very first photo and my last.

Beautiful pictures and yay for cooperative daughters
Well, this is it. Day 365 of my Project 365. I am so excited about this post because it means I have finished what I set out to accomplish – taking and posting a photo each day for an entire year. Throughout a move, the birth of our third child, 2 bouts of illness and being sick in bed, a 2 week vacation, Super Storm Sandy and 2 weeks without power I can say that I never missed a day. I have captured some moments that I would have otherwise missed in our day to day lives. I will continue to post my images, just not necessarily every day.
On Day 1 of my project I posted a different type of family portrait. Well, we have been through a lot since then, including a little addition. So here is an updated portrait.
