Love her lil toes pointing up

Meredith - October 27, 2012 - 10:58 am

Things I love about this image: CURLS! Smirk. Left hand on leg. Toes. Perspective. :)

Jennifer B - October 29, 2012 - 12:26 am

Perfection! Like the others said, composition, focus, everything.

Tiffany - October 29, 2012 - 11:13 pm

This made me smile! She looks like she has some gorgeous attitude to burn <3.

We All Fall Down, 328/365

Tiffany - October 23, 2012 - 9:52 pm

I’m such a shallow DoF junkie, love this!

Renee - October 23, 2012 - 11:39 pm

Clever title!! Great use of DoF

Dani from CM - October 24, 2012 - 11:56 am

Not gonna lie, I’m a sucker for puns. This made my day :-)

Meredith - October 27, 2012 - 10:59 am

This looks like the gentle beginning of fall. Is that true up there in New York?

admin - October 27, 2012 - 11:13 am

We are well into fall, the trees are lovely right now. We will see what it’s like in a few days after the hurricane blows through.

Pink and White, 327/365

Heather - October 23, 2012 - 10:58 am

So gorgeous! I love the color and light along with the composition.

Carolyn - October 23, 2012 - 3:03 pm

Nice! I really like the detail you captured!

Vicky - October 23, 2012 - 3:33 pm

I love this, it looks beautiful but fragile! Marvelous composition too!

Tiffany - October 23, 2012 - 6:16 pm

Oh, so beautiful. I can almost feel the velvety texture. Such glorious colour, light and composition.

Renee - October 23, 2012 - 11:40 pm

So beautiful. I love how soft yet clear this is. Awesome tones and color v

Kristy - October 25, 2012 - 4:51 pm

this is just lovely!

Lunch Time, 326/365

Heather - October 22, 2012 - 12:32 pm

Now that is my kind of lunch – with a view. I love the perspective on this picture!

Kristy - October 22, 2012 - 1:56 pm

Oh I love this shot! So sweet! :) How old are they??

admin - October 22, 2012 - 2:16 pm

They are 5 and 3 – one minute best friends, the next arch enemies

Meredith - October 22, 2012 - 10:25 pm

Her feet and his half eaten sandwich make this shot. And the perspective. AND her curls. That is quite a view!

Carolyn - October 23, 2012 - 3:04 pm

This makes me wanna have lunch out there too!!

Vicky - October 23, 2012 - 3:34 pm

I love the curve of the wall, what an amazing view to eat lunch to!

Tiffany - October 23, 2012 - 6:18 pm

<3 the little Adirondack chairs! I love this shot, the perspective is perfect. Wow, those curls take me back – my oldest had (has, straightens them now :( ) curls exactly like those.

Renee - October 23, 2012 - 11:43 pm

What a great perspective! Such an interesting photograph – so many details to take in!

Dani from CM - October 24, 2012 - 11:55 am

I really like this. It’s not fancy, it’s not prepared. It’s just life in all it’s glorious, everyday-esqueness. Yet it’s those simple moments we wish we could look back on. And now you can.

Writing Notes, 325/365

Ashleigh - October 22, 2012 - 10:38 am

Ohmy! What a perfect backlit shot. I love the composition, perspective, and the beautiful, yummy light! This is such a great shot for backlighting! And love his expression :)

Meredith - October 22, 2012 - 10:28 pm

His expression is exactly how I imagine we all look when we are saying out loud the words we write. Love that. And is that how your crayons look all the time?! So neat and perfectly in place! I love the soft reflections in the table too.

Carolyn - October 23, 2012 - 3:05 pm

I love this shot! He looks so into it. Awesome!

Vicky - October 23, 2012 - 3:37 pm

Oh those crayons, I am very jealous. If I had crayons like that, they would not look like that for long! And he does look ever so studious :)

Tiffany - October 23, 2012 - 9:35 pm

My child rips the paper off her crayons. I’m also jealous. That is some gorgeous soft backlighting!
