Monthly Challenge, July 2013

This month we are exploring “Mobile Phone”

This was actually a pretty difficult challenge for me because I really do not use my mobile phone for photos. Even though I have an iPhone and I know there are all these great apps to help with exposure and such, I just cannot get the stunning images that I see others are capable of. If I use it at all it is for just a quick snap shot or two. So if the goal of this month’s theme was to get me using my phone’s camera then I can say that it did, indeed, work.

Now head on over to Piper’s blog to see what kind of mobile phone photos she created this month.

I love these Linda! My favorite is the one I think is Grand Central Station? Beautiful images! You should get that camera out more often!

I’m trying to embrace iPhone snaps too. It’s hard though … I have no idea how to use my iPhone camera! LOL!! Yours are great though!!

Kellie B. - August 2, 2013 - 8:17 am

Its a dreary one here today – I see a movie day in our future ;-)

Davina - August 4, 2013 - 4:02 am

Cool composition. You captured the mood really well here!

Keri - August 4, 2013 - 7:08 pm

Love your conversion. It definitely makes it feel dreary.

Lori J. - August 5, 2013 - 3:57 pm

Wow, you’ve definitely captured the drear here!

Bearded Dragon, 212/365

Adorable little guy – I’m just so happy he is not ours.

Jennifer B - August 2, 2013 - 8:28 pm

Oooh, cool light!

Davina - August 4, 2013 - 4:03 am

Woah! Awesome lighting! Love how how you separated him and with such clarity — lovely!

Keri - August 4, 2013 - 7:09 pm

Ok….THIS IS AWESOME!!! It looks like you found him out in the wild and took his picture.

Hanging On, 211/365

See that sad little bandage that is hanging on by one little sticky thread? DO NOT TOUCH IT! If you know what’s good for ya.

Karen - July 30, 2013 - 11:40 pm

hahaha!!! i get that too!! so comical!

kerry - July 31, 2013 - 10:46 am

LOL. My kids are the same exact way!!

Kellie B. - July 31, 2013 - 10:59 am

Ha ha – too funny! Just the other night Lily had a complete meltdown when she woke up from a nap and realized I had removed her band-aid while she was sleeping.

Lori J. - August 1, 2013 - 11:07 am

Awww, poor thing. I love how this picture just feels like childhood.

Jennifer B - August 2, 2013 - 8:29 pm

THe only thing worse than the injury is the bandaid removal!

Davina - August 4, 2013 - 4:04 am

Haha! My kiddos are the same way! Cool memory captured!

Keri - August 4, 2013 - 7:14 pm

Hahaha. I like your perspective here.

A Bird’s Eye View, 210/365

A bird’s eye view of St. Patrick’s Cathedral in NYC. There is currently scaffolding all around it while they sand blast it clean. Still a stunning building.
